Durers Rhinoceros WIP

[stupid dA wouldn't let me put the umlaut over the u on Dürer's name]
If you didn't already read this in my journal, which is extremely likely since no reads that...then I'll explain what this project it.

NOVEL ALERT BELOW!

for my Drawing class [which I find rather boring] we had to choose from a list of 4 Masters. [Michelangelo, Raphael, Leonardo &&& Donatello <--kidding you thot it was gonna be the Ninja Turtles, no the last one was Dürer]

I chose Dürer, cause he was German, and I am also learning German right now. I chose this particular piece because [a]It had the least amount of detail compared to his other drawings [b] The library only had one book on his art, and this was the only drawing in it that I liked.

We had to do the drawing on colored thick fancy paper, and it's all in HB & 6B pencil. Just hatching and crosshatching. That's what we're studying right now hence why she chose those artists.

It's due Monday. It's Saturday night. haha. I just started it today. That's all I have done as of 9:30. && I've got two tests to study for ....aaaaaaah.

I will post the finished one. I better be the only one who chose the Rhinoceros in my class.

Btw, I totally kicked ass in that class the other night. We started doing cross hatching and hatching, and we had an exercise where we set up our still life's like always, and used the technique, then we put them before the class ends as always. I was the only one who actually did any crosshatching and hatching, everyone else had like three lines here, five lines there. I feel I am allowed to brag about this, since art is the only thing I am good at, and I haven't learned anything new from this class, it's boring.
